 आखिरी संदेश । 

ऋषिकेश के एक प्रसिद्द महात्मा बहुत वृद्ध हो चले थे और उनका अंत निकट था . एक दिन उन्होंने सभी शिष्यों को बुलाया और कहा , ” प्रिय शिष्यों मेरा शरीर जीर्ण हो चुका है और अब मेरी आत्मा बार -बार मुझे इसे त्यागने को कह रही है , और मैंने निश्चय किया है कि आज के दिन जब सूर्य मकर राशि में प्रवेश कर जाएगा तब मैं इहलोक त्याग दूंगा .”
गुरु की वाणी सुनते ही शिष्य घबड़ा गए , शोक -विलाप करने लगे , पर गुरु जी ने सबको शांत रहने और इस अटल सत्य को स्वीकारने के लिए कहा .

A famous Mahatma of Rishikesh had grown old and his end was near. One day he called all the disciples and said, "Dear disciples, my body is dead and now my soul is repeatedly asking me to abandon it, and I have decided that on this day when the sun enters Capricorn Then I will give up the breath. "On hearing the Guru's speech, the disciples got scared and started mourning, but Guruji told everyone to remain calm and accept this unwavering truth.

कुछ देर बाद जब सब चुप हो गए तो एक शिष्य ने पुछा , ” गुरु जी , क्या आप आज हमें कोई शिक्षा नहीं देंगे ?”

“अवश्य दूंगा “, गुरु जी बोले

” मेरे निकट आओ और मेरे मुख में देखो .”

एक शिष्य निकट गया और देखने लगा।

“बताओ , मेरे मुख में क्या दिखता है , जीभ या दांत ?”

“उसमे तो बस जीभ दिखाई दे रही है .”, शिष्य बोला

After some time, when everyone became silent, a disciple asked, "Teacher, won't you give us any education today?"
"I will definitely", the master said"Come near me and look in my face."
A disciple went near and started looking.
"Tell me, what does my mouth look like, tongue or teeth?"
"Only the tongue is visible in it.", The disciple said

फिर गुरु जी ने पुछा , “अब बताओ दोनों में पहले कौन आया था ?”

“पहले तो जीभ ही आई थी .”, एक शिष्य बोला

“अच्छा दोनों में कठोर कौन था ?”, गुरु जी ने पुनः एक प्रश्न किया .

” जी , कठोर तो दांत ही था . ” , एक शिष्य बोला .

Then Guruji asked, "Now tell me, who came first in both?"
"At first the tongue had come.",
 A disciple said"Well, who was the hardest of the two?", Guruji again asked a question."Yes, the teeth were hard." "A disciple said.

” दांत जीभ से कम आयु का और कठोर होते हुए भी उससे पहले ही चला गया , पर विनम्र व संवेदनशील जीभ अभी भी जीवित है … शिष्यों , इस जग का यही नियम है , जो क्रूर है , कठोर है और जिसे अपने ताकत या ज्ञान का घमंड है उसका जल्द ही विनाश हो जाता है अतः तुम सब जीभ की भांति सरल ,विनम्र व प्रेमपूर्ण बनो और इस धरा को अपने सत्कर्मों से सींचो , यही मेरा आखिरी सन्देश है .”, और इन्ही शब्दों के साथ गुरु जी परलोक सिधार गए .

"The tooth went away even before it was under the age of the tongue and hardened, but the humble and sensitive tongue is still alive ... Disciples, this is the rule of this world, which is cruel, hard and which is not known for its strength or knowledge. Pride is soon destroyed, so be simple, humble and loving like all of you tongues and water this land with your saints, this is my last message. ”And with these words, Guru Ji went to the other world.
